Remember when Candidate Joe Biden promised the American people that he was going to be the uniter of the country? No more of the divisive rhetoric that was coming from the Trump Administration. In fact, Jill Biden posted a seriesof tweets over the course of two weeks leading up to the November election, promising Americans that unity, integrity, kindness, decency, compassion and empathy were on the ballot.
One year ago today, President-Elect Biden tweeted that in one month we would begin to heal.
I think most of us would agree (with the obvious exception of those on the left) that Biden, his administration and the leftist Democrats-at-large, have been anything but uniting for this country. Over the last 11 months we have seen greater division than we have in decades, across a spectrum of issues facing us today. Daily we see the media and leftist politicians taking aim at the “unvaccinated” and those who don’t wear face masks, calling us names and accusing us of being the reason for the pandemic.
This message out of the White House went viral on social media yesterday…and for good reason.
“For the unvaccinated, you’re looking at a winter of severe illness and death for yourselves, your families, and the hospitals you may soon overwhelm.”
This isn’t decent, kind, or compassionate…just the opposite! And considering the fact that we know the “vaccinated” can get and give Covid-19 and that the Omicron variant is really just a mild cold, there’s absolutely no reason for language like this. This is completely unacceptable from any elected leader, but especially coming out of the White House.
