Covid Continues to Expose Teacher’s Unions

During the Covid-19 lockdowns, parents all across the country got a front row seat in the virtual classroom. And it was not good. Eyes were opened in homes of students of every grade, from the youngest to those about to launch into the real world. We saw the agenda of the radical left being pushed on our students and this caused parents to rise and speak up.

The pandemic has created learning delays for nearly all public-school children, impacting the special needs demographic the most. However, a big reason for this is the fact that academics – reading, writing and arithmetic – are backburned for social justice and sexual identity trainings for students.

There’s good news: the teacher’s unions and public schools across America have overplayed their hand and exposed themselves. This unites parents of all political affiliations because, ultimately, parents want to have a say in their child’s education and parents still want to be regarded and respected as the prime authority in their child’s life.

Corey DeAngelis, the national director of research at the American Federation for Children, published this paper: Teacher’s Union Inadvertently Ignited the Year of School Choice, which reported on a variety of situations in schools and school boards across the country that exposed the truth.
